The Service Center members are part of the working hands of the Housing Authority, with the assistance of the Field Representatives the Maintenance Staff are responsible for maintenance of over 699 affordable housing units that are owned and operated by T-HRHA across thirteen different communities in Southeast Alaska. The Service Center staff performs annual inspections to insure that each home is properly care for and that the neighborhoods are safe, other responsibilities include renovations, modernization, maintenance counseling and routine maintenance on all the rental units on an on-going basis. Our Service Center Manager Keith Bell oversees all operations of the maintenance division to ensure that all program guidelines are enforced properly, and coordinates with the Service Center staff to ensure communication and support with our Field Rep, completes budgets to maintain acquisitions, CAS Units and LITHC Units, and all other property owned and operated by T-HRHA, manages all work orders and structures training for the Field Representatives, and specifies appropriate materials and techniques on modernization projects. Our Field Supervisor Robert Reimer is in charge of the THRHA Field Representatives and direct operations for unit rehabilitation, allocation of equipment and supplies and directs maintenance crews, oversees the completion of the annual inspections, and assists with renovations when needed, monitors the estimates and rehab cost for all unit turn-around. Our Maintenance Specialist Roy Carte is directly responsible for carrying out the actual Special Inspections, annual inspections, maintenance and repairs of the units located in Juneau, and provide counseling repairs and improvements to clients.
